We took the scenic route home through Lake Tahoe. I love the beauty of this place. I feel so blessed to live in this area.

This is the first view of the lake as you come from Reno/Carson City.

It was much colder here than in Reno.

We stopped and saw "The Day The Earth Stood Still". We gave it a 3 out of 5.

We ended our get-away by stopping for dinner at
The Chart House. The view of the lake was gorgeous (until it got too dark ;) Kurt ordered the Prime Rib and I had the Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi. Thank you Mom Casper for such a YUMMY Christmas Present!
