- APPLE HILL

This afternoon Kurt and I drove to Apple Hill. It's about 10 or 15 minutes east of Placerville on Hwy. 50 in Camino. They are just gearing up for the apple/pumpkin/Christmas tree season. We love to go there to buy our produce. We picked up some apples and pluots at Boa Vista, our favorite orchard at Apple Hill.

Boa Vista is also famous for their fresh squeezed apple juice and apple cider. We like to watch the apple press in action.

I love the bakery at Boa Vista - especially the glazed apple donuts!

The frozen pies can't be beat either. I usually pick up 1 or 2 of these every year at Thanksgiving.

We had lunch (tri-tip sandwiches) while we were there. YUM!

The trees along the road were just loaded with apples.

The views were spectacular. Trees and vineyards as far as the eye can see.

We feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful place!

I remember visiting Boa Vista Orchards with you, Tami. Your pictures are way better than mine :)
