This was the only Trick-or-Treater who came to my house this year.
Judy, my co-worker, came over this morning and knocked on my door. I just had to video tape her little dance routine.
She didn't have a red tie to look like the "real" Jack, so I found one of Kurt's. Problem was, neither of us remembered how to tie a windsor knot. We finally went to You Tube and found some instructions.
We had some good laughs this morning.
You'd think we'd leave well enough alone? Nope. We decided to go to breakfast.
And where else? Jack In The Box!
Judy was a hit. All of the employees wanted their pictures taken with Jack. The other customers probably thought we were nuts, but we had so much fun.
Judy had some serious hat hair after this little escapade.
Later in the evening Kurt and I made coconut shrimp for dinner.
We made Sarah's famous caramel popcorn and watched a scary movie (The Lost Room).
It was the perfect night to stay home out of the rain.
This is the extent of my costume this year. I know, party pooper.
I had high hopes for real trick-or-treaters, but alas, nobody dared venture down our long, dark road. Bummer that we'll have to eat all of this candy ourselves ;) Notice all of our favorite candy bars?
