Today we drove to SLC and met everyone for lunch at McDonald's on 3300 South 9th East. The kids love to run and play and we thought it would be a fun place for the cousins to get together. We didn't remember it was UEA and that everyone else might have the same idea. It was mayhem!!!

Vicki (my sis) and hubby Scott.

Angie and my mom
Me and my sister's grandkids. L to R - Kelsey and Jack (Angie's), Jazlyn and Jovanni (Stephanie's), Ava and Gage (Sean's), and Abbey (Angie's)

As soon as I arrived, Kelsey informed me that she wanted to give me a pedicure. I secretly hoped she'd forget. I have a serious aversion to having my feet touched. I am SOOOOO incredibly ticklish that NOBODY touches my feet. Well......she didn't forget. I walked upstairs today and she had everything set up in the kitchen. Angie gave me that "just do it" look and I made it through the process without hitting anyone ;)

She chose a lovely purple for the nail polish.

After a second coat of clear glitter, I was good to go.....

Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?

The funniest thing happened next. The phone rang and it was the graphic artist who will be designing Alyssa's wedding announcements. She said she had a photo shoot in 45 minutes but could meet with us if we came over "right now." I quickly slipped my boots on - no socks because we were in a hurry, and drove to her house. We walked up to the front door and that's when I read the sign - "Welcome to our shoeless home". I wanted to die! I walked in, removed my shoes, and very proudly modeled feet only a Grandma could love!
