Kurt received a request this week from his potential employer in Dubai (Serco) asking for a copy of his latest C.V. We didn't want to look too stupid and ask what a C.V. was so we did some research. A C.V. or curriculum vitae is a summary of education, professional history and job qualifications for a prospective employer. Duh. Why didn't they just say resume? We're a little inexperienced in this area as Kurt has had the same job forever and every job I've ever had practically dropped into my lap. We've never really had to create resumes. Kurt spent the evening writing his "C.V." ;)

Please tell them that Kurt is unqualified for the job and he risks his pyhsical well-being by taking his wife so far away from her friends!
Be sure to research how to write the CV. They are used around the world while the U.S. uses resumes. They are different. It is my understanding that a CV is much more extensive and can be pages long.
