- SHOPPING ADVENTURE

Today I went shopping with Alyssa's future mother-in-law, Pam. We were looking for our dresses for the wedding. We had such a fun time! We left at 9:00 this morning and drove to Roseville. We didn't find anything there so we had lunch (that always makes everything better). She introduced me to Yakisoba at a Japanese Restaurant that she and Dean love. We ended up driving back to Folsom where we finally found what we were looking for (actually, we had NO idea what we were looking for ;) at about 5:00 p.m. Long day, but it was fun hanging out together. We were a little punchy by the end of the day - see photo ;) My feet hurt - I wore the wrong shoes today!

- BUSY SATURDAY

This morning I drove to Tracy to attend a bridal shower for Mandy Natali. She lived around the corner from us and was one of my girls when I was YW president. It was fun to see old friends and be back in Tracy for the day.

We played the purse scavenger hunt game - Mandy won the prize for the most unique item in her purse. Don't mess with this girl! (She's a pastry chef and takes her own knives to work).

I'm looking forward to Mandy's wedding in two weeks. I can't wait to meet her new husband-to-be!

After the shower, Alyssa and I went shopping for wedding dresses in Modesto. We weren't successful finding anything that was modest. I guess she'll join me next week when I go to Utah. Hopefully we'll be able to find something there!

We met the Grundy family at BJ's for dinner. This was the first time Kurt had met them and my first time meeting Alax's dad. What a nice family! We had a great time - and topped the evening off with a Pizookie Platter! YUM!!!!
