Kurt and I discovered a new frozen yogurt shop in Placerville today! We stopped by and gave it a try. There were 4 kinds of frozen yogurt and a good selection of toppings. It was nice not having to drive to Folsom for our fix!
If you get a chance, stop by Whistle Stop Yogurt across from KFC on main street. YUM!

Since Kurt was feeling NO pain after his procedure, Tyler and I decided this would be as good a time as any to remove his stitches.
I think it took us longer to take the stitches OUT than it took the Dr. in Oregon to put them IN!
I wasn't sure if they'd enjoy this activity, but they seemed to really like it. 8:30 rolled around and they were still going strong. I think they would have stayed another hour or so.

The girls had a great time working with rubber stamps. They were very creative.
Cassady REALLY got into this project. I think she went home with 6 or 8 finished cards. She's a natural.
Meghan kept us entertained while we stamped. Her talents on the piano truly amaze me.
Today we celebrated Karen's birthday at the dental office. We ordered lunch at Courtyard Cafe and Shandra made the most delicious vanilla/pineapple cake topped with strawberries and whipped cream. We all chipped in and got Karen a gift card for Bed, Bath and Beyond so she can buy some things for her new house. We had a great time and almost witnessed Judy dumping whipped cream on Dr. Kiholm's head! Whew! Close one Judy! ;)
Tonight Kurt and I went to Walmart to pick up a movie from Redbox. When we pulled into the parking spot, I looked over at the truck next to us and this is what I saw. He/she was adorable. That's all. It made me smile.
