Today my second born is 27 years old! It's hard to believe. Seems like just yesterday that he was running around in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pajamas. I nabbed this photo off of his fiance's facebook page. It's the perfect depiction of him....kinda laid back with a sly grin on his face. What can I say about Tyler? To say that he is unique would be a gross understatement, because with that uniqueness comes a sweet, sensitive, thoughtful, talented, intelligent, witty, hilarious man. MAN? Holy cow, my boy's a MAN! And what a WONDERFUL man he is! Love ya Ty! Happy Bird day! ;-)

Ed's 83rd

Tonight Kurt and I took our neighbor Ed out to dinner for his 83rd birthday (which is next week). We went to Cascada. We are so fortunate to have such good neighbors! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ed!!!

Happy Birthday Karen!!

Today we celebrated Karen's birthday at the dental office. We ordered lunch at Courtyard Cafe and Shandra made the most delicious vanilla/pineapple cake topped with strawberries and whipped cream. We all chipped in and got Karen a gift card for Bed, Bath and Beyond so she can buy some things for her new house. We had a great time and almost witnessed Judy dumping whipped cream on Dr. Kiholm's head! Whew! Close one Judy! ;)

Fishing at Comanche

One of the birthday presents I gave Kurt this year was a guided fishing trip. I arranged with Jeff at C&C Outdoor Adventures to take him out for a day on the lake. Dean Grundy went along and they had a great time.

They went fishing for trout on Lake Comanche. Kurt had a sore head and mouth from his little accident but still managed to catch some fish.
